I am 20 years old and want to backpack through Europe really badly over the summer. What is the best way to go about planning this type of trip? Where should I go/stay away from? About how much should I plan on spending?

We’re planning to go to Belfast, London, Paris, Rome, Greece, and Amsterdam. I still have no idea where to go and what to do even though ive been there once. Any places, we have to see or things to do? Were also in a budget and planning to stay 2 days per country.

I have looked at all the websites (Rick Steves, Lonely Planet, ect.) and can’t find anything about approximated costs, or how to figure them out. We plan on staying in hostels and going to as many major cities as we can (Paris, Roam, Prague, ect.) Can anyone help??

I’m going backpacking to Europe in January for 27 days landing in Germany and will have a global eurail pass, I was wondering where would be the best places to visit in late January early February to get the most out of the 27 days.
