How do people afford Euro backpacking tours?

Oh yes, I also have that all-Indian fantsy: go on a backpacking tour in Europe. But how do solo travellers afford it? How do people manage the itinerary? I don’t even know where to start?

They stay in hostels.
Not shure how much you make in rupies, but you may need about 1000 euro, than use tan to sleep in, hitchhike a lot… no plan go with the flow if you young/ may be scary for a girl, aren’t you a girl./
follow your guts!
once you get started you will know where you want to head.
don’t make too many plans as so much can happen on your way. maybe you meet the perfect lover-match or people you wanna travel with and then you are better off not having a straight forward plan…
you can buy an all Europe-train-ticket that takes you everywhere (Europe is quite well connected with trains) and it’s quite cheap.
stay in backpacking places, they are cheap. maybe you can even work cash in hand in some places. and if you are open hearted you will meet residents who are usually friendly and let you sleep over at their place. i did a lot of traveling as loads of Europeans do and i take travelers home so they can have a good night sleep, a proper meal and a warm shower.
there is ways! traveling is an adventure and that is what you gonna get when you leave home. do it! it’s the best way to open your mind and spirit!
and if you really have no money go to Asia or south America - these places are cheap to travel!
all the best and enjoy the world that you are going to meet!
The do every thing as cheaply as possible, and they sometimes work their way around, doing odd jobs like fruit picking etc.
Where to start? Try google and put in ‘Back Packing Europe and see what it gives you.
Pick out destinations in your head and try to work around them.
Be prepared to eat poorly, have no privacy and spend loads of time in buses, trains and plains.
Be prepared for the time of your young life!
For help with itnerary, consult a travel agent.
Happy trails.
they work and save their $$$
stay in hostels and europe is pretty cheap anyway if your going this summer avoid germany until july though and just enjoy yourself hope you have a good time
A male friend hitch-hiked all through Europe and Africa, the least expensive way to travel.
