I need suggestions for a digital camera for a very long backpacking trip?

There is a new style out by Olympus that is like waterproof, crushproof, weatherproof, and they tiny and takes great pics! They have a few models on this line and they are sold at most places like best buy, circuit city…prices aren’t to bad either $200-$400
I used an 8gb SD and it worked fine
